Dr. Khalilah M. Weston is a pain management specialist, practicing non-narcotic based and interventional pain medicine. Dr Weston is board certified in both Neurology and Interventional Pain Management. Dr Weston holds an MD from Howard University Medical Center and completed her training in Neurology from the University of Chicago Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She then continued on to sub-specialty training in Pain Management at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (Department of Anesthesiology) where she was able to add to the breadth of therapeutic treatments of pain that she might offer. Following completion of her residency program, she joined the department of Neurology at NorthShore University Health System in Evanston Illinois (A University of Chicago Affiliated Hospital) where she was employed as a Pain Neurologist specializing in the treatment of headache pain, mechanical and neurologic pain. During this time, she also served as associate professor of medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals responsible for the training of its Neurology residents. Dr. Weston’s philosophy on treating patients hinges on the importance of evaluating the patient as a whole, and tailoring specific treatment modalities to each person’s health concerns in order to assist them in achieving pain relief and balance in their lives. This is done by employing both traditional and non-traditional regimens in combination, specifically personalized to the needs of the patient, in order to provide maximal benefit.
